About the event

Join our Northants Nature Girls group for a longer sociable walk up to Stanwick Lakes and back!

• Please meet at our Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre at 10am (please note the car park at Rushden Lakes can be busy on weekends so please allow time for parking in case of queues).
• We will be walking from the centre up to Stanwick lakes, where will have a break for a coffee/snack (not included in your ticket price), before walking back to the centre again.
• The walk is about 6 miles there and back, so we anticipate the event taking a few hours but the length will depend on speed of walking!
• There is a suggested donation of £5 for this walk but please donate what you can- all proceeds go to protecting our local wildlife.

Who are the Northants Nature Girls?

This is a group designed for women who love nature and the outdoors to meet like minded people, whilst enjoying time in nature. We aim these events for women in roughly their 20s and 30s but this is not a strict age bracket. Can't join us this time? We will be hosting monthly meetings throughout the year so keep your eyes peeled!
