Our revised Articles of Association were approved at the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire on 8 October 2011.

See the explanatory notes for more information about the changes that have been made. The majority of these are to bring the Trust’s governance document into line with current law and Charity Commission guidance.
One change which you will notice is that our formal name has been shortened to the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.
When the Trust was established, it covered three counties and one unitary authority, Peterborough; all were reflected in the name. Since then, Luton and two Bedfordshire authorities have become unitary. Rather than adding these to our name, the Trustees recommended the name be shortened to refer to the three counties only.
