About the event

Join us as we cruise along the river Great Ouse in the early hours of the morning looking and listening for the many species of birds and other wildlife that call the river and surrounding habitat home. We are lucky enough to have several exciting species that live and nest along our beautiful riverbanks, including Kingfishers, Otters, Herons and Water Voles.

Travelling by electric boat gives a unique opportunity to get close to wildlife without causing disturbance. This relaxing trip operates along the scenic stretch of river between St Ives and Hemingford Lock, giving a unique view of the historic St Ives Bridge which we will pass under as we head up river.

We have partnered with St Ives Electric Riverboat Company to offer several wildlife based boat trips and 50% off the ticket price from these trips is donated to The Wildlife Trust BCN to help support our work.
