About the event

Canoes will depart Canoe2’s base at Rushden Lakes. Before you leave for your canoe trip you will be taken on a Dawn Chorus walk around the nature reserve with Wildlife Trust experts helping you identify birds along the way, through their early morning calls. Then enjoy a peaceful early morning paddle, first across our lake, then across to the river and enjoy exploring the river before paddling back, ending back at The Boathouse.

These events are run by Canoe2, who will be donating 50% of ticket sales from these events to The Wildlife Trust BCN.

Please note that, as per all Canoe2 canoe hire trips, you will receive a full Safety Briefing and Paddle Demonstration before setting off in your canoe, so you will be well prepared. Canoe Trips are not escorted on the river.
