Northants Nature Girls: Wild Yoga in the Nene Wetlands
Rushden Lakes
, Rushden, Northamptonshire, NN10 6FA
Event details
About the event
Join us for a relaxing morning of Wild Yoga, led by Lauren Aimee Yoga. We’ll head to our private and peaceful education area within the Nene Wetlands to enjoy a grounding practice to help us connect to our roots and soak up the beautiful surroundings of nature. Wild Yoga is an all-levels invitation to breathe in the fresh air, root your feet deep into the earth, and rise tall toward the sky. An expansive, freeing practice to connect with nature—and your wild, wonderful self. This class will suit beginners and more practiced yogis alike.
After our yoga session we'll then enjoy some time in nature around a campfire on which we'll create some delicious s'mores for you to enjoy. Light refreshments will also be available.
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. We will have a few available to borrow if needed but please let us know when booking if you’ll need one so we can plan accordingly. We'd recommend comfy clothing, bug spray, suncream and a bottle of water.
Who are the Northants Nature Girls?
This is a group designed for all women (including trans, intersex and non-binary people) who love nature and the outdoors to meet like minded people, whilst enjoying time in nature. Most people attend these events alone, and is a great way to get chatting to some fellow nature lovers. Can't join us this time? We will be hosting monthly meetings throughout the year so keep your eyes peeled!
You can also join our Facebook group here, to connect with others and hear about upcoming events.
