Event details
About the event
This is part of a series of Wild in the Meadows family sessions based at Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve on Thursdays during school holidays and on Saturdays during the warmer months.
In this session, join the Rangers for an adventure on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve. We'll meet at Byron's Pool car park to enjoy some hot chocolate, learn all about bats, and hand out bat detectors, before walking together along the river path to the weir. Along the way we hope to see and hear some early emerging bats, and will see more flying over the river. We will head back through the meadows.
This session is perfect for families with primary-aged children, for safety reasons it is not suitable for children under 5. Booking is essential so we bring the right number of detectors.
