About the event

Our Monthly Meanders at Trumpington Meadows are regular themed guided walks. Come every month - with the change of the seasons there is always something exciting to see!   

29 species of butterfly have been recorded at Trumpington Meadows over the last 10 years and many of them can be seen in July. We'll see if we can find any second brood Small Blues, look for elusive purple hairstreaks in the oak trees, and hopefully see hundreds of common meadow species.  

The walk will cover around 2 to 3 miles, and will be mainly on gravel paths or grass paths. Bring binoculars if you have them, or let us know in advance if you would like to borrow a pair.

This walk is suitable for adults and older children. Please get in touch if you want to discuss.
