Join us for a fantastic day celebrating birds and wildlife! We'll have a range of activities going on including....

Try Before You Buy Day with Opticron - Speak to an expert, try a variety of binoculars and scopes to find the optics that are perfect for you.

Guide in the Hide - Head to the Pioneer Hide to get to know some of the majestic birds on our internationally protected wetland. (FREE)

Book Signing with Tony Ploszajski - Meet Tony at the visitor centre and get a signed copy of his book, ‘The Birds of Bedfordshire’. Books will be available to buy.

Guided Walk - Join us from 10:30am-12:30pm for a guided walk around the reserve. Tickets cost £10 (Non-Members) & £7 (BCN Members) for this. Please book your ticket online using the link below. We will also accept walk ins on the day if there are spaces available. 

Apart from the guided walk, activities do not require booking, just pop by between 10am-3pm.

Plus, we'll have all our usual drinks and snacks available at the visitor centre, and staff and volunteers on hand to answer any of your questions.

CAR PARKING: Car parking charges apply for Summer Leys and can be paid for on the day (card payments only). Parking for members of the Wildlife Trust BCN is FREE - Members MUST register their vehicles to access free parking, for more information please visit here.
