About the event

As Midsummer Day approaches and with daylight at its longest, it’s the perfect time for a leisurely evening stroll along the river and round Roswell Pits. Good numbers of Barn Owl have been seen on the washlands of late and Kingfishers are always on the cards here. Depending on water levels, waders may still be a possibility on the scrapes. With a range of summer flowers and perhaps even an early bat or two there should be plenty to see, so join us for a summer evening wander in our local patch.
