About the event

Join Nature Girls Bedfordshire for a late-morning walk around Flitwick Moor. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded women on a social guided walk through this beautiful protected wetland. Together, we'll look out for signs of autumn, hoping to spot fungi and other clues that the seasons are beginning to change. There will also be time to relax, chat, and enjoy a hot cup of herbal tea.

This is a great opportunity to help shape this new Bedfordshire-based group, building on the success of Nature Girls events in Northants over the past couple of years. We'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions for future activities you'd like to see taking place in Bedfordshire.

Please meet us at the small reserves car park.
Please note, This Bedfordshire series launch event is free (donations welcome), but future events will have a charge . There is a suggested donation £5 for this walk but please donate what you can - all proceeds go to protect our local wildlife. Please don't forget to book onto this walk via Eventbrite link.

Who are the Northants Nature Girls?

This is a group designed for all women 18+ (including trans, intersex and non-binary people) who love nature and the outdoors to meet like minded people, whilst enjoying time in nature. Most people attend these events alone, and is a great way to get chatting to some fellow nature lovers. Can't join us this time? Don't worry! We'll be running more Nature Girls events across Bedfordshire. There are also other opportunities to join us in Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. Keep your eyes peeled for future events or visit our new Nature Girls page.

You can join our Facebook group here, to connect with others and hear about upcoming events. You can also join our Whatsapp Community - please email Megan.Owen@wildlifebcn.org if you'd like to join.

Please note: this event may be cancelled only in the event of extreme weather, such as high winds or heavy rain.
