About the event

This is part of an annual programme of Wild in the Meadows family sessions throughout the year on or near Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve.

Join Becca Badger for a night-time family adventure walk. We'll walk around 1.5 miles at a gentle pace with bat detectors to hear these fascinating night-time hunters, and we'll also listen out for hooting owls and barking deer.

This session is perfect for families with children aged 7-11, and older children will also enjoy it. We will adapt with the group, but it is not suitable for under 5s.

Additional information

  • This session involves being in the woods in the dark. It may not be suitable for everyone!
  • Please refer to our event terms and conditions webpage for details on refunds and cancellations, as well as general information about how we run our events
  • The benefits of joining the Wildlife Trust BCN include a reduced rate for events. Family membership is from £5 a month.
  • These are family sessions so children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. The sessions are designed for everyone to enjoy.
  • Toilet facilities will not be available for this session
