About the event
This is part of a series of activities for families throughout the year on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve.
In this session, join Becca Badger for an adventure on Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve. We will have a look at some moths caught in our special light trap, and use nets to investigate what lives in the long grass. We might go for a short summer walk around the meadow to see what other invertebrates we can find. Depending on how to season has gone, we will also spend time watching the swifts coming in and out of the nest boxes by the Ranger's Office.
This session is perfect for families with children aged 5-11, and older siblings will also enjoy it. We will adapt with the group, but since we will be handling live moths, it is not suitable for younger children.
