About the event

Trumpington Meadows is 10 years old! Celebrate with us at The Trumpington Community and Nature Day event organised by South Trumpington Parish Meeting. 

As part of the event you can join us on a short trailer ride through the nature reserve to visit our herd of belted Galloway cows. We'll talk a bit about the reserve along the way, and when we get to their field, we'll call the cows closer and you can hear all about how they help us with our conservation goals.

When we get back, you can join the rest of the event which will have performances, food vans, stalls, talks, a photography exhibition, nature activities, and more! It is a great chance to learn more about local wildlife, and have a great time outdoors.

• Suitable for adults and families with children aged 5+

• The benefits of joining the Wildlife Trust BCN include a reduced rate for events. Family membership is from £5 a month.
• These are family sessions so children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. The sessions are designed for everyone to enjoy.
• Toilet facilities will be available in the primary school near the start and end of the session as part of the main community event
