About the event

This activity is part of a series of outdoor opportunities to enjoy nature on Cambourne Nature Reserve and Trumpington Meadows, with a focus on sitting and having a quiet read together, rather than walking.

We'll stroll a short distance on flat surfaced paths to find a nice spot in the orchard then set up picnic blankets or camping chairs. We'll soak up the wildlife vibes, perhaps identify some wildflowers, or listen to bird song, and enjoy reading our own books or magazines with a biscuit together.

These sessions are aimed at adults of all ages, we'd love an inter-generational mix! Parents or carers with pre-walking babies are welcome. Paths are suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. We are especially keen to offer places on these free activities to local people.
