About the event

This event is part of a series of short, accessible walks, led by Communities and Education Officer Rebecca Neal, around Trumpington Meadows Nature Reserve in the warmer months. We walk at a leisurely pace on flat paths, taking around an hour to go 1-2 miles. We stop to discuss whatever wildlife comes along, and focus on common species. (Additional walks, which are more in-depth and longer, are available on the second Monday of the month)

These walks are aimed at adults, but interested older children are welcome.

Additional information

  • Most paths around Trumpington Meadows are surfaced, but we may make use of more rustic paths on the edge of the reserve, or in the nearby wood
  • There is no access to toilets on this site
  • Please refer to our event terms and conditions webpage for details on refunds and cancellations, as well as general information about how we run our events
  • The benefits of joining the Wildlife Trust BCN include a reduced rate for events. Individual membership is from £4 a month
