About the event

Are you aged between 11-17 and eager to participate in conservation efforts whilst making a positive impact to local wildlife? Join our Youth Rangers group, where we offer practical activities and volunteering opportunities for teenagers. These are the perfect way to get experience in conservation whilst meeting like minded people.

We meet every 3rd Saturday of the month, 10:30am-1pm, in Northamptonshire (usually Summer Leys or Nene Wetlands).

For May's session we will be in the Nene Wetlands, working in our Education area doing practical tasks including, cleaning up the shelter, raking, and bramble pruning. Please meet us at the Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre for the start time (on the Boardwalk at Rushden Lakes).

Please email Nicole.Schreiner@wildlifebcn.org for more information and to book your place.

These activities do not require a guardian to accompany, however bookings are not confirmed until we have received your completed paperwork and consent form (for each attendee).

Please bring water and dress appropriately for the weather - we'd recommend wearing suncream and bug spray too. Long sleeves and trousers are recommended as we may be working in areas with brambles.
