About the event

Hedgehogs are one of Britain's favourite mammals but are sadly now endangered across the UK.

In this session, we will help you construct your own timber hedgehog nest box to take home (perfect for hibernating hedgehogs). You'll also be able to decorate your own ceramic hedgehog feeding bowl.

Includes a hedgehog information booklet with lots of useful tips for how to help hedgehogs near you.

Please note, the hedgehog nest box is quite large and construction will require the use of hand tools so adult help and supervision will be required. Please purchase a ticket for each box you would like to build. For example, if you would like to build a single hedgehog box as a family, you only need to purchase one ticket. Each ticket includes one hedgehog box and one bowl (additional bowls for additional children will be available to purchase on the day).

Most suitable for ages 7+ (children under the age of 7 will probably require significant help from accompanying adults)
