This Easter Holidays we are bringing back our Pond Dipping Equipment Hire at Summer Leys! Pop by the visitor centre to pick up all the gear you'll need, including pond dipping nets, trays, ID guides and bug pots, which you can then take to Marigold Pond (only a couple of minutes walk from the visitor centre) to see what creatures you can find.

No advance booking required - if we are busy there may be a short wait for equipment to become free. Please note this is a self guided activity, but our staff and volunteers will give you all the information you need before you head off.

Available during visitor centre opening hours (Thursday-Sunday, 10am-4:30pm). Please allow enough time to return the equipment before we close. Card payments only.

CAR PARKING: Car parking charges apply for Summer Leys and can be paid for on the day (card payments only). Parking for members of the Wildlife Trust BCN is FREE - Members MUST register their vehicles to access free parking, for more information please visit here.
