About the event
Hedges are amongst the most frequently encountered wildlife habitats in the farmed landscape. They have lots of fascinating stories to tell about history as well as the plants and animals that call them home. Cambridgeshire hedges can be surprisingly diverse, and during this brief morning introduction, we will look at some of the shrubs to be found, how to recognise them and talk about some of the ways hedges can be managed.
