About the event

Kingfishers Bridge was founded in 1995 and since then this ambitious project has transformed 250 acres of farmland into a mosaic of wetland habitats including reed bed, water meadow and lake. It is now home to a rich variety of species including Bittern, Marsh Harrier, a colony of Sand Martin and, of course, Kingfishers.  It is also notable for the herd of Water Buffalo that assist in habitat maintenance. We will be given a guided tour of this wildlife-rich reserve by its warden, James Moss. The walk is around 1.5 miles.
