About the event
Join us for a hands-on practical workshop and learn the traditional skill of hedge laying, delivered by Wildlife Trust as part of the Wilder Luton project.
You will have the opportunity to help create a wildlife hedge at Stopsley Common while learning about this heritage craft and the benefits it provides for wildlife and the local environment.
This workshop will take place outdoors and will only be cancelled in the event of extreme weather.
Please be prepared for physical work involving the use of sharp tools. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear layers if possible. Stopsley Common is an exposed site and can be very windy at times.
