Members-only guided walk at the Great Fen
Event details
About the event
Join our Promotions Officers Paul and Megan for a walk around one of their favourite nature reserves in this exclusive event for members of the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.
We'll be looking - and listening out - for cuckoos, birds of prey, water deer, and insects including butterflies and dragonflies at Woodwalton Fen National Nature Reserve.
Come along to meet other members, learn more about this remarkable long-term and landscape-scale project, and how your membership is helping the wildlife across the three counties.
There is a choice of two walks, both two hours (ish) in length - 10am-12pm or 2-4pm.
Attendees should park at the far end of Chapel Road on the field-side bank of the Great Raveley Drain and meet at the Woodwalton Fen Nature Reserve entrance bridge. The What3Words location for parking is https://what3words.com/represent.teaching.tradition.
