Full role description

Position details 

Commitment: Wednesdays or Thursdays 

Frequency: one day per week 

We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Cambridgeshire Wider Countryside Team covering recording and data input for all the Cambridgeshire County Wildlife Sites and other projects. The position covers 1 day per week. 

You will gain experience in data management for the District Level Licensing Ponds Scheme, wildlife data recording from County Wildlife Site surveys and cataloguing wildlife species and habitat photographs.  As well as gaining knowledge and experience from working with the skilled Wider Countryside Team, you will also be offered inhouse and external training which may include Access database and QGIS mapping software.   

Applicants should be reliable and able to commit to a minimum of 1 day per week.  Good team working skills and self-motivation are essential. Some previous experience of data management work would be an advantage but is not essential. Some travel expenses and a training budget are available. Please note that we do not accept CVs.
