About the event

Join us for a fun morning of bushcraft whilst enjoying time in nature in our education area at Summer Leys. Learn how to use tools safely and take part in a range of autumn and spooky themed bushcraft and forest school-style activities, including broomstick making, mushroom whittling and more. You'll also learn fire lighting skills and we'll finish off with a small campfire and marshmallow toasting.

These activities are fun for all the family and we encourage adults to get involved too!

Due to the nature of these activities, children must be at least 7 years old and supervised by an adult on a 1:1 basis. Additional children over 12 years of age may be permitted to attend at the organisers discretion. Please contact us to confirm.

Please ensure all attendees wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. As we will be using fire, long hair should be tied back and clothing made from natural fibres i.e. cotton, linen or wool should be worn wherever possible.

CAR PARKING: Car parking charges apply for Summer Leys and can be paid for on the day (card payments only). Parking for members of the Wildlife Trust BCN is FREE - Members MUST register their vehicles to access free parking, for more information please visit here.
