About the event
Join us for our March session at the Bushmead Community Hub in Luton. Depending on the weather, we may be set up indoors or host the session in the Hub Garden if we’re lucky enough to have some sunshine.
During the session, we’ll explore various ways to recycle containers to create seed sowing pots. We’ll also try making pots from newspaper and other materials, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Once our containers are ready, we’ll sow seasonal seeds in them for you to take home and grow.
Afterwards, we’ll look at creative ways to make plant labels — exploring what materials can be used and trying out a few different methods together.
What to expect:
- Light physical work (tools and some equipment provided)
- Drinks and snacks during the session
- A chance to learn new skills, meet others, and get creative/crafty while making a positive difference for nature
*If this is your first time with Youth Rangers, please contact Ieva (ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org) for parental consent forms before booking, and a link will be e-mailed to you.
