About the event
As part of Community Garden Week 2026, we’re delighted to invite you to a Family Open Garden Day at Bushmead Hub.
Come and explore this welcoming green space, discover how community gardens support both wildlife and wellbeing, and enjoy a range of fun, hands-on activities as we get ready for the growing season ahead.
We’ll be celebrating the arrival of spring with activities such as seed sowing for the garden and a small pot of seeds to take home, planting, minibeast hunting, and much more.
