Strawberry Hill – An Extraordinary Place for Wildlife

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we were able to save Strawberry Hill, a 150-hectare site in Bedfordshire that had been transformed from poor arable fields to grassland, shrub and young woodland, and is now home to a stunning range of species – including nightingales, turtle doves, and harvest mice. Learn about how this transformation came about, why we stepped in to buy in, and our plans for this new nature reserve.

An Introduction to Wildlife Gardening

On average, private gardens make up 20% of our cities – providing space for wildlife and forming links between larger green spaces to make wildlife corridors. Discover how you can help your local wildlife by providing food and shelter for a range of species in your garden.
