About the event

Dave has found wood whittling a great way to improve well-being as well as being an enjoyable craft to learn. He will teach you to safely use carving knives and set an appropriate project each week to help you develop your whittling skill. The aim is to give you the skill to continue whittling in your own time as well as whilst enjoying the company of others in the peaceful setting of Wardown Park's arboretum.

There are three sessions available, Tuesday mornings every fortnight starting 21st October.

There will be a firepit and hot drinks to enjoy during these sessions and we would encourage you to book on all of them to help develop your skills, but it is not compulsory.
