About the event

We are celebrating the experiences and memories made, at Paxton Pits Environmental Education Centre, since its arrival 15 years ago. We are offering family activities in the education centre grounds, alongside wildlife experiences in the wider nature reserve delivered by the Friends of Paxton Pits . In addition our 'its not the Easter dog trail' will be set up for dog owners to enjoy with their four-legged friends, on the wider nature reserve too.

Important to help you to plan for children and dogs! All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout their time here. Sorry no dogs are allowed in the Environmental Education Area, where the family activities will be running (except assistance dogs). Dogs and their owners will be actively encouraged to follow our dog trail, which will be situated out on the nature reserve.

Although there is no charge for this event, donations towards the work of the centre are much appreciated. This event has been made possible thanks to the ongoing support of our valued Wildlife Trust BCN members.

Please do bring some change as there will be a number of items to purchase!

Lots to do outdoors too, so wear long trousers and sensible shoes with closed toes and do bring raincoats.
