About the event

UPDATE 24 April: Given the current ground conditions the walk will probably have to be limited to the rides and the path by the main eastern bluebell patch.  The ground will be wet and muddy in many places - stout footwear is essential.

Community Warden and local experts will lead walks around the local Wildlife Trust’s largest Ancient Wood.  The bluebells and many other spring wildflowers should be blooming.  Hopefully some of the summer migrant birds will be heard and possibly seen.  The history and management of the Site of Special Scientific Interest will be explained.
