Our 2022 Photography Competition is now open for entries for photographs taken anywhere in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire or Northamptonshire on the theme of 'nature from every angle'. Run each year to celebrate the wildlife and wild places in our three counties, the competition is open to photographers of any age and is free to enter. 

This year we are delighted to welcome Canon UK, in association with Campkins Cameras, as our sponsors. Canon "are really excited to be sponsoring the Wildlife Trust BCN Photography Competition, and look forward to seeing the breadth of creativity and all the wonderful wildlife captured by the entrants." And Campkins, who also supported last year's competition, said: "We have seen a real quality of images in the competition, and we’re delighted to be supporting the Wildlife Trust BCN in association with Canon UK." 

Canon UK, and our long-term supporters at Opticron, will be generously donating prizes for the top three winning photographers, and 24 images in total will be chosen to appear in our 2023 calendar. All entries are judged anonymously by an experienced panel of judges, who will be appointed and announced in due course.

The 2022 calendar, featuring the winners from last year's competition, is now on sale for £10 + P&P via our online shop. All proceeds from the calendar go towards supporting our work looking after the wildlife and wild places in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

The closing date for the 2022 competition is noon on 17 May 2022. All the information you need to enter, including our full terms and conditions of entry, is available on our website.
