About the event

Interest in regenerative agricultural practices – agricultural management that promotes healthier soil and greater sustainability in agricultural systems – has risen sharply in recent years. However, the evidence behind the effectiveness of this approach is varied, and a true consensus is difficult to reach. Drawing on her recent work, Katherine will discuss how best to assess this and explore whether such practices can be effective in making agricultural systems more sustainable.

Katherine is an ecologist and conservation scientist specializing in landscape design and management practices that enhance biodiversity in urban and agricultural contexts. She leads the monitoring on the H3 project, a co-designed experiment testing the outcomes of a transition to regenerative practices in the UK.

This is a hybrid event.  For in-person at the Main Seminar Room, New Museums Site, there is no need to book - please just turn up.
