About the event

In collaboration with Luton Family Hubs, the Wildlife Trust invites families to enjoy a series of fun, hands-on, nature-inspired activities this February half term.

These creative sessions are designed to spark children’s curiosity about wildlife while giving families the chance to learn more about the Wildlife Trust in a relaxed, welcoming indoor setting.

Activities will be led by Wildlife Trust staff and include a range of crafts and nature exploration. Parents and carers are asked to supervise and support their children where needed.

Session times (please book the session suitable for your child’s age):

10:00–11:00 | Ages 3–7
Mini-beast story time and nature crafts

11:30–12:30 | Mixed ages / siblings (ages 3–12)
Butterfly-themed crafts session

13:30–14:30 | Ages 8+
Seed bomb making

Throughout the sessions, children will have the chance to explore mini-beasts and insects, learn about wildflowers, and discover some fascinating examples of wildlife from our nature table.

For enquiries, please contact Ieva on 07871 987381 or ieva.piraga@wildlifebcn.org

Please note:

  • This is a free activity session
  • Tickets are for children only — parents and carers do not need to book a ticket but must remain to supervise
  • The activities will be held at the Central Family Hub, situated on the ground floor of the Central Library Building in St George’s Square, Luton (LU1 2NG).

Bonus!
Everyone who books a free place will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a free ticket to one of the Wildlife Trust’s outdoor children’s activity clubs — Little Bugs or Wild Ed Primary — held at Wardown Park every other Thursday, with clubs restarting this spring!
