About the event

Brian will present an overview of the habitats and species which are unique to our part of the world, or where a high proportion of the British population lives on our patch.  His fascinating talk will cover a wide range of wildlife from plants and invertebrates to fish and birds.  He will show the landscape and conservation history of our area, too, including species which we’ve lost, those which have survived and are now thriving, some which have been lost then recolonised, and those which we may regain either naturally or via reintroduction.
