About the event

The Birds of Bedfordshire by Tony Ploszajski is a lavishly illustrated 500 page hardback of avifauna covering 307 species that have occurred in Bedfordshire. With a detailed review of the last 33 years covering each species, within the pages you will find photographs, graphs, distribution maps, breeding information, analyses and much more.

Published by the Bedfordshire Natural History Society and funded by the Peter Smith Charitable Trust for Nature, all sale proceeds will be split equally between the Wildlife Trust BCN Strawberry Hill reserve and the Greensand Trust Clophill Lakes reserve.

The event will commence with a few words from the author Tony and funder Peter Smith.

Books are available to buy at the Visitor Centre at an early bird discount of £45.
