About the event

Nene Park is an excellent resource for wildlife whilst still being within the city boundary. This visit to Ferry Meadows features its secretive nocturnal residents – the bats – in the company of resident conservation officer Sophie Rolfe. With ultrasonic detectors provided, we shall walk on the paths around Gunwade Lake and hope to observe several species while contributing to the Park's accumulating conservation dataset.
