About the event

Join us at the Wildlife Trust Countryside Centre for this wonderful artistic experience. Try your hand at creating your own nature-based work of art, using the nature reserve and its flora and fauna as your inspiration.

We will provide your paints, brushes and canvas. You need only bring yourself, an apron, and your lunch. If you have your own easel you may wish to bring that too, or you can work at the table. You may choose to make use of our brand new outdoor shelter, or pick a beauty spot of your choice.

This event is not a structured art lesson, more an open opportunity for you to see what naturally develops when you put paint to canvas. Our event leaders are keen artists available to offer support and guidance about your piece but what you produce will be all your own work. You will also learn about the wildlife and history of the reserve. This will be a sociable and relaxing day spent in nature, perfect for unwinding the mind and appreciating our wild world.
