About the event

Come along and create your own wildlife-friendly habitats at our first Wildlife Watch session of 2021. Make a bird house, help with filling our new bug hotel, go pond dipping and learn how to make your own bucket pond at home. We'll also be learning about the importance of gardening peat-free and how valuable peatland is for our planet and wildlife.

This group is designed for Primary-aged children (7-11). Younger children are welcome to attend but may not get the most out of the event. Accompanying siblings aged under 3 may attend for free. Please book a ticket for everyone attending, including adults, to ensure we keep numbers within Government guidelines.

The session will be outside so please come dressed appropriately. You don't have to be a Wildlife Watch member to attend, everyone is welcome. However, if you are members you will benefit from the discount attendance fee and your activities can count towards your awards!
