Back to Nature Family Event on Pegsdon Hills - Lambs & Butterflies
, SG5 3GS
About the event
Pegsdon's resident sheep play an integral part in keeping the reserve looking so stunning. Their grazing keeps the grass in check allowing a vast array of wildflowers to grow. These flowers in turn attract many amazing creatures including beautiful butterflies.
Join Wildlife Trust BCN staff on a guided walk around the site learning about the sheep and carrying out a number of activities along the way. There will also be a craft bag to take home.
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Activities will be aimed at primary school aged children but older and younger children are welcome to come along with their adult(s).
Please dress appropriately for the weather with sensible shoes/boots. Sun cream, hats and drinking water are also advised. Hand sanitiser will be available and all equipment will be sanitised before use.
