About the event

Join Wildlife Adventurer Rebecca Neal for a series of strolls around Cambourne Nature Reserve, and some simple outdoor activities for toddlers. The sessions are designed to support the wellbeing of the adults, as well as provide activities and resources to engage children in outdoor nature-related activities.

This programme of small-group, pre-school sessions, is for families with children from 18 months to 4 years old.

In order to keep group sizes small, each adult may only bring 2 toddlers  (younger siblings are welcome)

This programme is a block of 5 weekly sessions, starting 30th April on Friday mornings, 9.30-11.30am.

What to bring

We try to embrace rain and mud so please ensure adults and children are dressed for the weather, and have sturdy shoes like trainers or boots. Long trousers and long sleeves are advised in all weather, to avoid scratches, stings and sunburn. We will take a break part way round the walk, possibly sitting on the ground, so please bring a drink and snack. We can supply something to sit on, but you may prefer to bring a picnic blanket. We like to encourage exploration and the children may collect natural materials along the way. Please bring a small container (like a sand-castle bucket) to enable this.

Parking information

The carpark is public and spaces cannot be guaranteed. Please consider parking at Morrisons nearby
