About the event

Virtually join Wildlife Adventurer Becca Badger for an autumn self-guided wild trail around Cambourne Nature Reserve. Follow a map, watch the videos, and explore with your family whenever it suits you.

You'll be sent a map and challenges to complete on a short walk around the reserve, starting from the car park off School Lane between Fenbridge and Quidditch Lane. You can access extra information through videos along the way.

This trail is aimed at families with children aged 7-11 but older and younger children will enjoy it. It is part of a series of seasonal self-guided trails around Cambourne Nature Reserve. Look out for the next one around Christmas time.

There are a few spaces available for a guided version of this trail during October half-term.

Mobility

The paths around Cambourne are mostly flat and accessible and most of the challenges are on, or right next to, the paths.

What to bring

I would suggest long sleeves and long trousers to protect against bites, stings and scratches. Sturdy shoes would be sensible, and be prepared for wet weather!

Parking information

The starting point is a public car park and spaces cannot be guaranteed. Please consider parking at Morrisons nearby
