About the event
This is your chance to discover some of the best places to see orchids in Cambridgeshire. Be guided by those in the know and visit, fen, grassland and woodland habitats to find out what makes these sites so special and take time to appreciate the species that call them home. We hope to see 9 different species of orchid alongside a wealth of other wildflowers.
After meeting at our Trumpington Meadows office, we will visit Devil's Dyke Site of Special Scientific Interest, Fulbourn Fen Site of Special Scientific Interest and WT Nature Reserve and Haslingfield Pit County Wildlife Site. A buffet lunch will be provided at a local pub (please ensure you fill in any dietary requirements when you book). Transport will be provided.
