About the event

Kings Wood and Glebe Meadows below it comprise an SSSI.  It is an ancient wood with examples of flora typical of such a habitat, such as bluebell, yellow archangel and wood anemone.  The wood also has a rich fungal population.  Glebe meadows are species rich (including some species uncommon in Bedfordshire such as saw-wort and dropwort) and show signs of ridge and furrow cultivation.  We hope to be guided by local residents David & Nicky Tinker.
