About the event

Providing nesting sites is a great way to encourage the birds in your local patch. Come along to this event and build your own wooden nest box to put up in your garden.  You will also be able to have a look at real bird's nests and find out more about these amazing structures! 

Sessions will run at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm and places are limited. Booking is recommended to guarantee your space.  

This activity involves the use of hand tools and, as such, is most suitable for ages 5+. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult during this activity.

Additional booking information

Whilst booking is advised, it may also be possible to turn up on the day for this activity if there are still spaces available. However, we recommend calling the visitor centre to check availability before you start your journey to avoid disappointment.
