The Education and Community Service offers a comprehensive array of hands- on activities for schools, community groups and higher education establishments. All health and safety requirements are forfilled for you. We can adapt programs to your curriculum needs. Please see download below.

Our Houghton Regis Wildlife Watch group runs at Moore Crescent Pavilion in Houghton Hall Park and offers new themes and activities. Children can explore and enjoy wildlife in a safe environment. We welcome new members from all around South Bedfordshire. Please see leaflet below for further details.

For young people aged 13 to 19 years we run Wildlife Youth Rangers. These sessions run twice a holiday and half term on Houghton Regis Chalk Pit and Blows Downs Nature Reserves. We do practical conservation tasks and wildlife surveying. We are a small friendly group that welcomes new members. Please see download below.

Volunteers play an important role in supporting our work on the North Chilterns Chalk. Conservation work parties run throughout the year and welcome new participants.

We run a Walking Warden scheme at Blows Downs and Totternhoe Nature Reserves. Volunteer Walking Wardens are extra eyes and ears for the reserves. Helping to encourage visitors to enjoy the reserves responsibly, making them better places for people and wildlife. Please see leaflet below.
