About the event

Learn more about this important aspect of our monitoring programme at the Great Fen, as we gather data about the wildlife moving in and out of this internationally important Living Landscape. We have a limited number of spaces for this exciting event. This bird-ringing experience offers you the opportunity to observe this monitoring technique (and the birds) close-up, carried out by experienced volunteers and staff. Learn more about what we do when bird ringing, why we do it and how this work feeds into wildlife conservation.

Please note, this event is part of the larger Great Fen Ecotour, but we regret there are no more places on the main tour itself. Your part of the event will end at 9am.

A photographer may be present at the event and taking pictures for Wildlife Trust BCN use so please let us know if you'd rather not be included. For children under 18, an adult will be asked to sign a media consent form.
