About the event

Stuart Winter has been an avid birdwatcher and nature writer for many years. Based in North Luton he has an in-depth knowledge of the birdlife that visits the chalk hills found in the South of Bedfordshire and he enjoys sharing this knowledge with anyone interested to find out more about birds in this area.

The walk will also be led by Matt Sutcliffe from the Community and Education team who lives locally and who considers Pegsdon Hills to be one of the jewels in WTBCN's list of nature reserves due to it's wildflowers, views and good variety of bird species.

We will meet in the main meadow area by the kissing gate entrance on the Hitchin road for 8am and will be back down from the hills between 9.30 and 10am.
