Campaign for a wilder future

The world is in a critical state. Urgent action is needed.

Planning Bill

Broken Promises

Changes to planning rules could disconnect people from the natural world.  A move which breaks several different promises Government Ministers have made to bring nature back to everyone.

In 2023, Rachel Reeves said she wanted to be 'Britain's first green Chancellor'. But now she has the role, she is threatening to ‘rip out’ environmental protections.

Please ask your MP to intervene

Wilder Future Fund

Our wetlands need you

Our three counties are at the heart of an opportunity to restore wetlands. The UK has lost 90% of these wonderful habitats – wetlands now cover only 3% of the landscape in the UK, but they are host to 10% of UK species. Wetlands are frontline defenders against climate change too, including protection against flooding. By supporting this cause, you will have a triple impact: restoring nature, strengthening our climate defences and protecting people.

Our Wilder Future Fund is an ambitious effort to raise £500,000 a year over the next three years - £1.5 million to help nature recover across our three counties.

With your support, we're already doing so much, but our wetlands are in vital need of more help.

Focussing on three critical areas, the aim is to:

- Put nature into recovery
- Help communities take action for wildlife
- Work on nature-based solutions for a changing climate
