About the event

Meet the Great Fen's monitoring & research officer, Henry Stanier. Discover who he is and how he began working in the field of conservation, over 20 years ago. Learn what a typical year at work is for him now, if there is one, as we travel through the full cycle of seasons in one hour.

We'll find out what motivates and excites him as the heads out onto the Great Fen Living Landscape. Hear how the Great Fen has changed over his time there and his thoughts for the future. There will be time for a Q&A with Henry after his presentation.

This talk is ideal for anyone interested in the survey & monitoring work taking place in the Great Fen, and many other reserves in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, or for those interested in a career in conservation.
