About the event

Join us for a guided walk round this brownfield site which has a variety of characteristic fenland habitats including areas of open water, a reed bed, marshy grassland and willow carr. Local botanist Sarah Lambert and entomologist Peter Kirby will show you the wide range of special plants and insects that live there, and will provide information about the ecology and management of the site. If the weather’s sunny, there should be lots of dragonflies!
